Frequently Asked Questions

Are your puppies sold with registration?

Yes! All of our puppies are sent home with AKC registration (limited registration) packets. Once you receive your puppy, it is then your responsibility to register them via mail or online.

What does 'limited AKC registration' mean?

Limited AKC registration means that the individual dog is registered, but no litters produced by that dog are eligible for registration. Breeding rights/full AKC registration are an additional cost and can only be given by the breeder.

Do you test your adult dogs for hereditary genetic disorders?

Absolutely. All of our dogs are tested and cleared for hereditary genetic disorders.

Are your puppies socialized?

Yes. Their socialization includes interaction with our dogs, exposure to various noises, playing inside and outside, interacting with children, and being handled daily by us. Puppies that are socialized this early in life are less likely to exhibit behavioral problems as adults, such as aggression or fearfulness, and be more likely to engage in positive social behaviors with humans and other dogs.

What type of Labrador Retriever do you breed?

Our labradors are bench bred/show lines. Commonly known as 'English' labradors. They are more heavily built with shorter legs, thicker tails and 'blockier'  heads compared to field line/'American' labradors.

Do you ship your puppies?

We do not offer shipping of our puppies in cargo HOWEVER we are more than happy to have a 'puppy nanny' fly in cabin with your puppy, to meet you at the airport to pick up your puppy. This of course would be at an additional cost to buyer.

Do you offer a hip/elbow guarantee?

We guarantee your puppy to be free from any genetically caused hip or elbow dysplasia for a period of up to 26 months of age. We do not guarantee your puppy to obtain any particular OFA rating as there are numerous factors such as diet (not being overweight), exercise, and injury that would affect such a rating.
